Gifts for Organizers - Ideas & Inspiration
I’ve never met an organizer who doesn’t love a good planner. But all planners are not created equally. Some planners can become overwhelming with all of the various sections and pages. I recently switched to this simplified planner and love it so much. It has everything I need on a single page, include meal planning, fitness, water intake, a to-do list, gratitude, notes, and appointments. It really is the all-in-one simple planner that I needed to replace the stacks of phonebook thick planners I’d tried using in the past.
You know those big bulky fireproof safes? Not only are they tough to move around, but they aren’t particularly efficient. I recently came across this alternative that has proven to be so much more versatile. I use the larger one to store all of our important documents and some extra copies of favorite family photos. Then the smaller ones we use for my husband’s coin collection and small valuables. Most of us want to keep certain items safe in case of a fire or flood, and this fireproof bag provides that extra piece of mind without being an eyesore.
What organizer doesn’t love labels? And cards? And stickers? Enter – Cricut. Cricut is the perfect gift for the organizer and DIYer. I am always amazed at the variety of designs and products that can be made using the Cricut. I personally love creating custom labels for EVERYTHING. While a label maker fits my need for basic labels, the Cricut offers endless options when it comes to customization, color combinations, and details.
If you’re not ready to invest in a gift as grand as a Cricut, then label makers can also offer alot of joy to the organizing guru in your life. There are so many options when it comes to label makers, but my favorite is the Brother P-touch. It’s affordable at less than $40, but it’s functional, portable, and easy to use.
I cannot recommend this book enough. I’ve been a huge fan of The Lazy Genius podcast for a while now. The Lazy Genius Way book is chock full of ways to streamline and organize your life. I can’t imagine anyone who loves organizing wouldn’t also love this book and Kendra’s podcast.
Another book I’ve heard raving reviews about, is The Home Edit Life. This book is more of a traditional organizing book by the amazing team from The Home Edit on Netflix. It focuses on setting up systems in your home to help you organize your life.
Something for Everyone
If you’re leaning towards a gift card, consider a gift card to The Container Store. We organizers LOVE the Container Store, it’s like the adult version of the candy store. With so many different storage solutions, they really have something for nearly anyone.
Gifts for the Minimalist
Before picking out the perfect gift, consider the person you’re buying for, their lifestyle, and any past preferences they’ve expressed regarding gifts. Many times those who love organizing may lean more on the minimalistic side and honestly prefer not to receive a physical gift. If that’s the case, or if you’re just trying to not add any unnecessary clutter, then consider an alternative such as experiences, donating to one of their favorite charities, or maybe a nice plant (because you can’t ever have too many of those, right?).
I hope you’ve found some useful suggestions from this list. I’d love to hear what you end up getting the organizer in your life. Feel free to share your gift choice in our private FB group. Hope to see you there.
